custom methods to populate views with data

Hi

I am looking for a tutorial which can help me to understand how i can implement custom methods to populate view(s) with data. In this scenario i am trying to get data from user through view#1 & on pressing of submit button a new view (view#2) will appeared with entered data.

I am new to programming as well as apple platform, i tried several days to figure out how i can achieved my goal but failed to do so, i attached a sketch so anyone can understand it easily and provide me a quick feedback if possible.

Hi rissvann,

I'm hoping you have solved this query, however, if you have not I have uploaded a tutorial that does exactly what you ask. I didn't put any data validation on it so it is just passing two strings into your second view. Hopefully you find it helpful, it is based on the iTunes U Stanford stuff, lecture 6 (Multiple MVCs & Segues one).
