porting to iOS 5

Hi everyone,
I guess it should be really easy to get my code working in ios 5, because I can't find any tutorials for this!
But I get an error running my app on the simulator for ios5, but everthing works fine in the simulator for ios 4.3
I would really appreciate some help here, because I honestly couldn't find anything...

just the usual: EXC_BAD_ACCESS
on a line that shouldn't do any difficulties. I want to Log an NSString-Property from a custom class.

I now got rid of the error by converting my project to ARC. But I don't really know why it happened. I thought if you didn't convert, you'd just code the same way as before..

If anyone can explain this to me I'd appreciate it :-)
