Question Update plist outside of my app

I understand that I can update my .plist file from outside of my app if I use an html page to do so. I am wanting to create a list of recommended apps linked to the App Store, which will be displayed on a screen inside of my app. I don't want to have to submit an update to the iTunes every time I change my recommendations.

Is this possible? Where will this html file reside? I will have to put it on my server but I am not really familiar with this process. Can it be simply a page on my wordpress blog or do I have to go into the file manager for my domain and create a folder? where should this be located?

Has anyone done this and can you give me instructions on how to accomplish what I want to do? Thank you so much!
