Implementing AdWhirl

Hello everyone,
Im completely new with developing and even less knowledgeable about adding ads to my apps. While trying to implement ads using AdWhirl I completed steps 1-4 on the instructions. However I ran into difficulties trying to put the code into my project. Can someone give me easy to follow instructions on putting the adwhirl code into my project.
