I would love it if someone knew of an iPhone tutorial or could make one on how to record a phone call by pressing a button or something when you call someone or they call you.

Um, I don't think this is allowed. I don't think an app can run in the background.

No it's not illegal.

What I'd prefer is for someone to make an answering machine program.

Won't work do to the fact that if you would have to have the app running in the background and it would have to run ALL THE TIME waiting for call event to happen.

And no you can't make a phone app with it built in because it goes against your Agreements and then apple would get you. So you can't make an answering machine app.

Release it on Cydia, screw Apple's rules. And you could still charge for it

Something like this would benefit every owner of an iphone

Yeah, background processes aren't allowed. Not even voice memos will go with phone.app.
