Talking Obj-C Syntax?! already read apple docs. need help!

I spent all last week reading apple docs to understand obj-c syntax etc but its so much to take in.

please if someone could put together a quick overview of the syntax. I think my problem is that if i had a lamen analogy for the way obj-c syntax works i could understand it better.

so what im asking is if someone could just do a quick run through of the syntax.
i sit at the screen looking at a method and simply cannot remember where everything goes. its definitely a foreign language to me.

thanks and you'll earn 1000 programmer points!! + positive karma which is always a good thing

Ive been following the stanford classes and am lost. Someone suggested these screencasts
The Pragmatic Bookshelf | Coding in Objective-C 2.0

I bought one for the 5$ and found it helpfull. Im not a pro, but it helped a bit. Any training is better than none i figured.

Thanks!!! I watched the sample movie and he actually explains step by step which is great for newbies like me. I super appreciate the help and I think I will pick these up. $5 is a great deal!
