Appending audio files

I need to append newly recorded audio with an existing audio file.
How can I do this ?

How do you mean append? Just join the two files together? I'm sure you can just use the NSData class for that.

I used NSMutableData for this and when I'm appending both files and then writing into another file by clicking the append button, Program received signal: “EXC_BAD_ACCESS” after writing the file. And also when I'm playing the file from directory it plays only the first file but, it shows the duration and file size correctly.
