Maximizing Tutorial Videos

When I watch the tutorial videos I like to use the full screen mode. I also like to type in the commands at the same time. I am fortunate enough to have 2 screens so i place the video on one and xcode on the other however.

When I activate the XCode editor the Video on the other screen reverts to the small window.

1/. does anyone know a setting to prevent this?
2/. can i download the videos to another application and play them independent of the web page?
3/. I prefer to enter the application myself but failing the above is there a central repository for the source code
