TheFool is on a distinguished road
Red face How to break an image into objects.

Will be brand new to iphone development, I have no experience yet.

In Adobe Flash, I can import an image and break it into several IRREGULAR shaped obects(buttons).

For instance, I can bring in an image of a car, and break the car up into individual objects(windshield, tire, door...). These objects can then be clicked on, have rollover states, and have actions applied to it.

If it is possible to do this in iphone sdk, is it as easy to do as it is in Flash?

If it is possible to do this in iphone sdk, can someone provide me with some key words so I can research it on my own? (I don't want to waste your time if I can find the info on my own, but have had great difficulty finding any information in regards to this question.)

Thanks in advance for any help given, it is greatly appreciated.
