Soundboard Tutorial with Source code.

Well I've had a pretty good '09-'10 in the appstore and it wouldn't have happened without the tutorials and free code snippets given away on websites and forums such as this one.

Anyway as a way of saying thanks I've decided to make a tutorial for a simple soundboard application. It will show you how a multi-paged soundboard using a tab bar view and the Audiotoolkit works.

I've whipped up a document explaining how it all works to the best of my ability (I'm not great at explaining things) and I've also included the code from one of my apps that is currently for sale in the appstore, less the sound files themselves to save on file size.

This is ideal if you are looking to make an app which plays .wav files 5 seconds in length (or less).

Just a quick update. I am aware that something is broken in the code, my Macbook was stolen a week after this tutorial was posted and I've only just managed to get a new Mac now (september) I will be looking at this code again as I never backed up any of my code. I will try to fix it.

That'll be a SIGBART error no doubt. Best way to get round this is remove all of the lines of code relating to sounds apart from one, so there is just one sound. Add in your own sound and rename accordingly. Load up and it should work.

Then its a case of adding new sounds one at a time.
