iDamaged now has a preview on youtube:

This is the first gameplay preview showcasing menu, weapons and some gameplay and options in the upcoming iPhone/iPad/iPod Toch shooter iDamaged.

Looks great and I like the music, it sounds like a full on movie score.

So I take it this was inspired by Walker (Amiga game from 1993)? Where are the little soldier guys that make comical "whaa" sounds when you shoot them?

The music is by renowned music virtuoso Mattias Holmgren: Game audio music composer Mattias Holmgren Morningdew Media.

Yup it was indeed inspired by Walker, there might be "whaa" guys too though no absurd chariots though

But where Walker had just the 1 big boss at the very end of the game there will be plenty here

There is a level editor for it too, but as it looks now it will become public after an update.

Also undecided yet if it would be wise to have a staged release of levels and hand out a level per week or possibly charge per level and release the game for free. It's definetly intended that you can create your own levels with it as the level editor allows to do so from within the App.

I think there's a release date now FINALLLLLYYY (this game was in development for longer than the age of the first thread on the games dev forum on this site)

After long delays iDamaged was submitted and is now in review by Apple

Apple approved iDamaged last night. It will be available as a universal binary in the Appstore worldwide from next Thursday December 15th!!

It will be US$0.99 in the USA and GBP 0.69 in Great Britain.

Thinking that the game is in development since 2008 that's a pretty relieving feeling
