Color therapy, also called chromo therapy, is a theory that says that you can influence the way you feel by using colors. It is done by watching at different colors, wearing clothes with different colors or changing the temperature of the room light.



Another daily way for color therapy is this app, you can experience it each time you are using your mobile.




Each color has its own attributes, related to a specific chakra and organs.



VIOLET: Related to the Crown Chakra at the top of the head its related organ is the brain. It has a calming effect and is related to self knowledge and spiritual awareness.



INDIGO: Related to the Brow Chakra inthe forehead, also called "the third eye". Related organs are the lower head and the eyes. Indigo relates to self responsibility and is therefore responsible to oneself to follow the soul's path and needs and trusting one's own intuition.



BLUE: Related to the Throat Chakra, which is associated to the throat and lungs. Blue relates to self expression. Speech, communication and the ability to communicate our needs and requirements are increased.



GREEN: Related to the Heart Chakra, associated organs are the heart and breasts. This Chakra and its color relates to love and self love.



YELLOW: Related to the Solar Plexus Chakra, situated below the ribs. Associated organs are the liver, spleen, stomach and small intestines. Yellow relates to self worth on the psycho-spiritual level. It takes influence to the area of the personality, the ego, the intellect and of self confidence.



ORANGE: Related to the Sacral Chakra situated in the lower abdomen, associated organs are the uterus, large bowel, prostate, ovaries and testesOn. This chakra relates to self respect on the psycho-spiritual level. Orange is the color of creativity.



RED: Related to the Base chakra, situated at the base of the spine. Associated organs are the kidneys and bladder. This chakra relates to self awareness on the psycho-spiritual level. Red relates to our basic human instincts and is the color related to stability and security.
