Yoté is a challenging African strategy board game somewhat similar to checkers. The goal of the game is to capture all of your opponent’s pieces by jumping over them. This iPhone version of that game includes:
- Single player mode with adjustable AI
- Same screen multiplayer
- Wi-Fi multiplayer
- Rating system for multiplayer games
- Option to tweet your victory over your friends from within the game
Both players start with 12 pieces. On each turn, a player may place a piece on the board, move a piece up, down, left, or right, or capture an opposing piece by jumping it up, down, left, or right. If an opposing piece is captured, another opposing piece of the capturing player's choice must be captured from the board as well.
There is an update "In Review" that adds an online leaderboard and ties ratings to your Twitter username and password.
