Hi! im just new here and i need some help...

I uploaded an iphone app to the apple app store about 3 months ago and it still has ZERO downloads! How did
they market it? I definitely need some tips!so I found this youtube:
iPhone App Marketing Tips and Strategies -- How to Grow Your User Base Fast - YouTube but the sound quality is
terrible and it sounds too complicated so if you know any sites or
suggestions that would help, I would be very thankful!

You are the one that is supposed to market the app. So, how did you market the app?

You know there's a section on this forum called "Shameless Advertising", right? Write up some copy (it doesn't have to be fantastic) and throw it and a link to your app there.

Meanwhile it sounds like your sole amount of research (in 3 months?) has been one bad You Tube video. Are you sure there are absolutely no discussion forums for whatever market your app is targeting? Heck - "iguana ****" gets 1.35M hits on Google, and I hope you thought to target a larger market than that!

There are some app marketing services out there for developers, you might want to take a look.

Other venues people use are app review sites, video reviewers, and online ad campaigns, etc.
