Theres a ton of different portion techniques out there, but only a few of them are actually worth the time. In my case, getting app reviews and doing a PR were the two biggest things that increased my sales. Facebook and Twitter didn't work nearly as well as I thought it would. So, what techniques worked the best for you guys?

See there are lot of promotional sevices which you can opt for promoting your app. Every day lots of app are getting registered on appstore so Getting a good crowd for iphone app has become much complicated. You need to stick with the promotion strategies to make youe app visible to users.

But besides all this you need to be very consistent on forum posting and social marketing .....

Getting your App Reviewed is the best thing to do. Secondly, social media promotion also works wonders.

PR is nice, but you need to invest a lot of time into it.

App reviews have been excellent for me especially on web sites where they promote apps and technology. This raises the profile of the app and gets a lot of attention. You have to have something of interest and a bit different though.

This all depends on your apps category. Before starting your app marketing campaign you should to fixed that which is your targeted audience and start marketing on that. as i experienced i m not getting single downloads from Apps Reviews Site but Social media Marketing is best effective for my apps. and i think if you target your audience on Facebook you will also get good downloads from there.

Secondly, Affiliate marketing like Pay Per Install is also gives best ROI on your paid advertisement.
