Hi all,
I make videos of some of my apps, and I use ScreenFlow Mac along with some PC video editing software to record the simulator. This works great and the quality is excellent.
However, this doesn't work so good when an app needs two fingers individually (eg a joystick and fire button).
What are some current good methods of recording quality video like this?
I have tried using the undocumented "video out" hack in the app and beamed up the display output to a video recorder on my PC, but this is analog and the video quality truly sucks.
I have asked about the Magic Trackpad but that doesn't do two separate taps.
I'm unwilling to jailbreak my development devices so can't use any of the software from Cydia.
It looks like the only solution is to use an iPhone 4 to record HD movies of another device running it. This brings problems with screen reflection etc, but even getting around that I don't like big fat real fingers in the movies.
Anyone got any tips on how to do nice quality videos direct from the screen?
What is this I hear about Airplay beaming the screen of newer devices to other screens? Can I do it this way perhaps? What would I need?
Thanks for any pointers
