Hello everyone. I am thinking about building a small publishing/marketing company for apps. We could publish/promote a few apps for free to get some better insight then go and try to make a little money. It would be a partnership and you will not be paid directly, instead it will be from a rev share base. Contact me at michael@naberindustries.com if interested or PM me for more details or to join the team.
Mods - Please move this to Business, Legal, and AppStore Forum.
Nice plans. However it is not enough to say "i make a publishing company, come to me".
What do you offer for a developer worth coming to you and not to self publish or going to Chillingo and the others?
At least you should have a business plan.
What differentiates you from the others?
What can you offer others can't?
I publish for hungarian developers and they come to me because they don't speak english so they can't create iTunes accounts, can't communicate with review sites, don't know how to do taxation, have no money for registering to different services (including Apple) etc.
Even so, after the first meeting not many are willing to make business, because they don't want to share revenue and they try to manage all those things themselves after all. After a few months they realize, that they don't know jack and cry a river for me how hard it is and that they are still no millionaires, but then it is too late...
What I want to say is:
1. you need a solid base for being believable and trustworthy and you have to offer something others can't
2. even if you can offer something, it is hard to convince people.
So, I would say first get your stuff straight, post here a detailed plan and offering, and then, maybe then your topic won't sink into oblivion.

I absolutely agree with what promo dispenser said. That, plus the fact that your site looks very amateurish (jeez - buy a $50 stock design!)
What potential customers are even more interested in, aside from "Throw your voice being featured in Apple iOS Download." is - what are your success stories? How much did you earn on the apps you published?
Don't get me wrong - you don't need huge success stories, even if your apps sell $100/month each, be frank about it. Quite a few beginning developers would be happy with a promise of $1000 after two years of sales.

Thanks for the advise!
First - Merlin, can you get me a link to where I can improve my site design?
Second - This is just an experiment. I just want to see where it goes. I'm not at the point where I am looking for developers. I am looking for a team to help me with this. I am trying to build the groundwork for the team instead of diving into it and going straight for devs.
