Freemium, Price Drop

Hi,

I posted about selling a source code a couple day ago, but changed our plan to go with freemium for a while because of those complicated rights regarding Flickr and etc.

I am thinking about contacting all " free app a day" sites before we have a price drop. Anybody have a good information on effective sites to promote? Also, when is a good day to have a price drop during a week? Any specific day for better promotion?
