I'm just wondering, what would be the "top list" od app categories according to strength of competition? (I'm guessing sports has the least...)
Give me your thoughts.

Sorry for double post (it also serves as kind of a bump ),
but I'm also wondering, does apple care much about number of reviews/ratings when composes top list, or do they strictly look at download number?

I don't have any figures about category competition, but looking at release dates in the "New Releases" section in iTunes gives you a good indication. Just take the last one on the list and calculate how long that app has been in the list (now minus release date of app). The more quickly new released apps fall from that list the more new apps are released per day, thus the more competition there is.

Thanks, sound logical, I'll check it out now.
