Reward for "In-App" Facebook Like?

Does Apple frown upon a system where a user can be rewarded (say with more gold coins, or bananas or whatever is needed in your app) for clicking a Facebook "Like" button that posts about your app to the users wall? (or prehaps tweets about the app on twitter) This way you get some free advertisement for the app and a user gets a reward.

What do you think about this? Is it being done on any apps?

Off the top of my head I know that "Angry Birds Seasons" does this, they enable 3 bonus levels for each of the seasons when you click the facebook "like" button in the level select screen. Also, "Doodle Jump" gives you Game Center achievements for sharing the game on facebook and twitter from within the game.

I do it with Dragon Lords as well, it's a good way to promote the app.

It's a good idea, but I don't believe there is anyway you can confirm they actually did what you wanted them to with either twitter or facebook.

For example, you'll get the extra level in angry birds regardless of whether you actually like their facebook page after you click the "like" button in their app.
