How to improve the Sale in others Store ?

Hi everyone !

I have developed and released the free & paid App on App Store (Both of them are calculators), The Download and Sale is pretty good. I get 600 -> 700 downloaded per day for free version, most of them is in US Store (about 90%). I wonder that: Is that normal to every developer ? or the American like to use calculator or 90% revenue comes from US ?

I really want to improve the sale in other country but I have no idea how to do that !

Anyone may share me a small tip to do this

I think that you could employ some affiliate marketing related techniques to probably improve sales through better advertising.

THough that would not ensure to give results as it will still depend on what your application is, but at least you would have a way to get users' attention.

What I mean is that you could advertise through a lot of avenues like social networking sites.

Here's my two cents:

Create the same apps for different countries in their native language. And then have the app description in that native language too. Do whatever you can to make it easy for a non-English speaker to understand what your app is all about.

Having said that, an App I wrote the copy (app description) for went to #1 in France and the copy is in English. Goes to show if people really want the app they'll get it whatever barriers are in the way.

But breaking down any barriers can only help sales.

Hi,if you want customers from other countries, share you product at bookmarking and networking sites, make ads at every country ads sites.

You mean create a native description for a specific country or create a new app for that country ?

is that possible to create a duplicated app with a new name in native language ?
I read in Submission Guide: Your App will be removed if you try to spam App Store by duplication app !

Both! One of my clients has the same app but a French version, and a German version.

The text in the app is in the native language plus the app description is in the native language.
