Apalon, who knows???

My name is Alain and I released yesterday our iPhone App MadBox.

For a major hit we asked Apalon (Mobile Development, Game Development, Animation Studio | Apalon Studios) do make our marketing. They did a good service (app description optimidation, translation of the app description to German, Italian, French, Spanish and Russian, creation and distribution of press release, etc.). We booked the ultimatum service (with a guarantee that app will hit Top 50 in any category, for games subcategory). Since yesterdays launch our app hit top 45 in family for 1-2 hours and now the rating us droping (115 US market).

Now that our app hit top 50 we have to pay the second payment. We had only +\- 56 downloads of the app un the US. I thought to hit top 50 in subcategory the app had to be downloaded 200-300 times.

Did someone had some expwriences with Apalon?

As far as I can remembre, there was a discussion about them here a short time ago and people told to keep away from them.

You should use the search function. Even before you pay some shady "company" 4000 or so dollars...

I think you got taken for a ride. Top 50 in a games subcategory is not very high.
