What is best PR distribution website for iPhone app?

I am getting ready to release an iPhone app, and heard of a few sites that distribute press releases for you, and I'm trying to see where people have had the best experiences. I've been looking at PRWeb and prMac in particular. prMac is a lot cheaper ($20 for cheapest) than PRWeb ($80 for cheapest), so I'm leaning toward that, however if people have had significantly better results from PRWeb, I'll go there. What are your opinions of these (or other) websites?

If your App is great, it should stand out, so I'd suggest prMac.

So you guys have had good results with prmac? I've heard from some people that prmac doesn't yield much in terms of increased downloads (ie "you get what you pay for").

Also, would you recommend doing the $20 extended distribution, or pay $75 to get the video? My game is quite unique (and therefore hard to describe) so I was thinking a video showing gameplay might help, but it is so much more expensive.

What are the benefits of a press release? Who sees them? I understand the concept of a press release but would many people see my press release on prmac?

I had about 30K hits on mine. Dunno how it impacted sales but it's free so what's there to lose?

Thanks for the info. I also did a search for prmac on the forums and it seem very effective.

I will post sales results for next week, I have a press release issued for tomorrow.

With prmac you can attach 5 or so links to the end of your release.

So, if you do your own Youtube video for your app, then link to that for one of your links

I wrote my own press release. Considering I'm only in high school, I'm trying to do as much myself as possible to save money.
