I thought I'd just let you all know that I just posted a (hopefully) very comprehensive list of app review sites that don't charge for reviews. You can get to it here:
A lot of work went into the list, so I hope that it's useful. If you think I can improve the resource in any way (perhaps with more information or different formatting) I'd love to know. Similarly, if you can think of any sites that I might have missed out, please let me know.
If you have any suggestions of other resources that you as developers might find beneficial, I'd be happy to consider producing them in the future.
Hi, thanks for the link. I know that list is big, but it's also not been updated in a long time and in terms of review sites, I'm fairly sure it doesn't contain as many links to free review sties - I used it as a reference when I was compiling my list, and definitely added a lot of sites that aren't on that list. It's still a great resource for people wanting links to other kinds of promotional sites, though, and just as good a list to use as mine.

Yeah, my Alexa Ranks are from July 9th I believe. I'll update them again at some point, but there are a lot of them. I did add the sites I was missing though.
Also, incase I forgot to do it before, I want to thank you for the Zombie Glider review. Sometimes us little guys get no love when it comes to actually getting reviews, so yours was much appreciated.

Awesome No problem, I still play it sometimes, it's good fun. I'm not going to be writing many more reviews for AltiApp now because I've got uni coming up in October, but if you (or indeed anyone on here) is looking for reviews, be sure to add The Smartphone App Review to your press list. I'm not the one that looks over submitted apps, but I realise how hard it is for some of you smaller devs to get reviews so it's always good to have as many credible sites as possible to submit to (hence the lists).
I'll add a link to your list from my list when I next update it, Raymond, so people can easily find the most up to date list.
Promo Dispenser - thanks, I'll try to add it when I next update the list (some time in September).
Hi guys,
Thanks a lot for both the lists. I used both the lists for my latest app.Review is published on two sites. Though none of them are very major site but its better to have review published somewhere.I would have missed both the sites without these list.
Thanks guys, I'm glad you appreciate the list. I do intend to update it in September but I'm not around much for the next week or two so it's likely to be in the latter half of the month.
I'd also like to highlight this part of my original post... "If you have any suggestions of other resources that you as developers might find beneficial, I'd be happy to consider producing them in the future."
It'd be great to hear any suggestions for resources that you might find useful.

Registered for this forum for the sole purpose of thanking you for this list
We are going to look at scoreloop/flurry/tapjoy etc. for distribution/promotion so a resource that compared pros and cons of those options, or even shared empirical data on performance of those options would be very useful. I know I would share what we learn from using these tools.
Thanks for sharing great Apps Review Site. Really thanks alot.

Sorry guys, I was hoping to massively update the list in September but life got in the way, so it'll be another few weeks before an update now. I'm starting at uni on saturday so it'll now be at least two weeks before I can begin reorganising the list.
So that you know what I've got planned, in the future I'm hoping to:
top up all alexa rankings
categorise sites so that it's easy to find more specialist sites
add other promotional sites
add links to other lists of review sites
add links to marketing tips/suggestions/forums/helpful resources
add contents/pagination to the list
If you can think of anything else I could add, or any sites or resources I could list, please let me know.

The main link is down but somehow I checked it in cache and I am liking it!!!

Oops, I changed the publication date of the post and it must have changed the link at the same time. The list is still available, it's the most visible post on AltiApp and I've changed the link at the top of this thread. The link you were using before should work now too - I've set it up to redirect.
Also, an update will come at some point, I just haven't had enough free time in the past month or two. Sorry!
