How did someone get a promo code

My sales today indicate somoene got a promo code when in fact i didnt give any out for this particular app. I checked my remaining codes which tells me 50 still remain. I don't understand how that person got it.

The P is used to signify a few things, not just promo codes.

Hover over the P with the cursor, and it will say either Promotional Code, Education Purchase or Gift.
