I don't really have a problem with them releasing those as separate apps, but definitely odd that Apple featured them at the same time.

Yeah that's the concern from me too. Sure, Apple is God, they can do whatever. But, I believe there is always a better app out there that deserves the spot. The fact that Apple features 3 apps of the similar genre from the same dev, kinda fishy to me.

So..... anybody knows how much to pay Apple review board to get featured?

Wow that's strange. This is such an odd time for education apps to be featured. School is almost over! This would make sense around august-sept.

I wonder if it is done by popularity? Either that or it is a paid thing and Wolfram pays to be on the New and Noteworthy site.

It sure is strange though. Looks very fishy to me.

I had a discussion with a developer about things like this and the app store in general. He was a pessimistic old ******, but essentially he said as soon as there is big money involved in anything, you can bet there are is some palm greasing and shady deals being done.

I'd like this to not be true, but he makes a good point.
