Advice - Should I release Lite and Paid version together?

Hi All,

I would appreciate some advice here please. I have been told that releasing a Lite version together with a Paid version can reduce the sales of the Paid version - is that the case?

I would have thought (hoped) that the Lite version would encourage people to buy the full version.

Any experience and thoughts would be REALLY appreciated.
