iPhone app marketing is earning a huge popularity in the market today. As the number of people using iPhone are increasing day by day, the requirement of the applications are also great. Due to this reasons, many developers are customizing their own iPhone applications and making money out of it. Therefore, if you are interested in this business, make sure you have the best marketing strategy that will help you to boost your sales. Moreover, you should also know the fact that the success of your business mainly depend on the type of marketing plan you use.
@Julietmarly
Your web site link in your signature takes me to your site about your brand's reputation and how one bad statement can ruin your brand.
I'm just going to point out the obvious and ironic fact that your site is filled with typos and poor grammar... That's the type of thing that can ruin your brand... Guessing it's still a new site and not finished but sorry I just felt I needed to bring it up since it is a public link. Otherwise, it's a really nice looking clean site and looks pretty professional.
I was curious so I checked out BrandVois, too. I don't think the site is quite as bad as Show Time is saying, but he's right that there are grammatical and copy-editing mistakes. But the site appears to be UK-based, and there are stylistic differences with US that explain some of it. One hat I wear is as a professional editor, and I see this stuff all the time. But as a Brand Reputation company, I would urge Juliet to have her colleagues across the Pond hire a Copy Editor to clean up the site's text. Show Time is right in that a site like BV needs to be perfect in this regard.
Let me know if you want an estimate ;-)))))))

P.S. Assuming your brand is playing on the French "to see, to inspect" (Vois), I'd play that up more in your own branding. Just a marketing opinion to try to bring this back on topic
I would second Haraldo's comments on the Brandvois site, although none of the many errors there would be considered correct in British English either.
There is one bit where they suggest you check out their competitors to see what they could do, then come back to them so they could undercut on price. I thought this was an....errr..... "interesting" strategy!
There's way too many Advertising posts on this "Promotion Techniques" forum...
I just gotta say advertising for your iPhone App as an independent developer is just a total waste of money. Donate it to Japan, you'll get more out of it that way.
Anyone else agree or disagree?
Don't disagree cause that means you're wrong...
I'd say it depends on the app - if it's a niche audience with passionate users we've seen app marketing working rather well (e.g. social ads and social media engagement). Obviously no marketing ever works if the app per se is just not good enough.
I recently started a blog that discusses iPhone App marketing. I released a fairly successful App called Show Time last August. I started this blog to talk about what I did right, wrong, and iPhone App marketing in general.

I realize this is a shameless self promotion but I figure it might be of interest to some on this forum.
Thanks for taking a look
Keep up the good work Andrew and nice pic of you and Steve hanging out together
