Default Benefit from making app free

How can you capitalize on making your app free for a few days? I was getting around 25-30 downloads a day then it settled to around 5-10 per day for the past couple weeks. I started a two day giveaway about 10 hours ago and it has already reached the Top 100 Free apps in its category (Healthcare). So again, how can I benefit from this once I put the app back to $0.99?

My Free apps are actually making more revenue than my paid apps. As long as you figure out a way to monetize within than it is perfect BUT going from Free to paid generally has no effect on sales.

No sir. That would be the easy route. Sit down and think about what the user would want and then do an In-App purchase plan. It works.

Hmmm, I've done paid apps and free apps with ads. I guess it's time to venture into the in-app purchases. Thanks!

Freemium is the way to go for the little guys - let them try out what you got with some ads then let them upgrade if they like it.

Ryan works closely with us, so what he says is true. Enable In-App purchases, slap on a PPI monetization platform like ours (g6pay) and you're all ready to go.

If Ryan wants to explain how it works in his app, than he can do so.
