We just uploaded our latest video to your site. Looks good. This is our iPhone trailer for the game Fast Food Revenge. Youtube link. It was made using After Effects and Premiere. I'm looking forward to some feed back.
Hello,
My new game Tarantula vs Snake just hit the App Store. A video with gameplay is available here: Tarantula vs Snake - iPhone Gameplay - YouTube You can also find some promotional codes for my game in iPhone Promo Codes forum section
It will work for sure. Just make sure that you are entering targeted tags on your youtube video because tags plays very important role in youtube videos.
Just a quick question, we're about to make a video for our app and want to know your opinions guys.
DO you think it's better to use Dev Simulator or a video of the actual app running in say a white room? I'm partial to what is better at this point. The Dev Sim videos look OK but not really inspiring as they seem kinda robotic. But they do show the app running exactly as it would. But taking a video with it running on a real iPhone seems more realistic but much more difficult as the lighting has to be perfect.

Anyways any thoughts guys?
Hi Inupgames how about using the simulator with a piece of software called PhoneFinger (free)?
This is what we have done. You can see our YouTube trailer here:
The video is not smooth as it could be because we used free screen capture software that records at 20fps max, but PhoneFinger should help visualise your app to users.
Hey I'm currently making a video to post on youtube to promote my app that hopefully makes it to the app store. If anyone else has done the same please post your video's link so I can check it out. Don't worry I wont steal your ideas I have a pretty unique idea as it is, its just out of interest.
Cheers
Here's our channel - I like to do simple LIVE videos so that the viewer sees what the app or game looks like WITH your fat fingers on the screen!!! LOL

Um all your videos are out of focus, is that intentional? I actually went through 3 vids and can't see any of the game play correctly. I did some tests yesterday with my video camera and they were crisp clear and 100% viewable. So something to think about...
I used screenflow to record the images from the app, Maya for creating the 3D iPhone an some animation, and after effects to make the video. I love coding and design
BTW after launching the video (august 2011) the sales increased by 250% in the first days.

It is one of the best way to promote business. Here I have watched some videos upload in above mention post. Video promotional is really good idea to present your brand or product on web site.
I just threw together an explainer startup esq style video for my app Chances, and how it helps you get laid. If you have ever seen a recent tech startup and the the videos they put on their homepage, you'll know what I'm talking about.
