Can anyone recommend a good press release service suitable to an iPhone game press release?
Thanks,
I submitted "My Virtual Girlfriend" to "www.gamespress.com"
I purchased the membership @ $80.00 per month (cheap compared to others)
This press release somehow got the attention of a major Norway publication for my game
which ran an article on my game (I used google translate to translate it)
here is the article: Norway Leading Publication- Spillmagasinet
This in turn sparked curiosity among the readers of Norway and Now i'm currenly the #1 game under 2 catagories in Norway games/RPG and games/Simulation
please keep in mind my game was intended for an American and European Audience- I didn't do any localizing so im not sure if the text is readable over there.
Hey its really very good article which you have mention here. I really like the information which is given in it. And the another thing is that the game which you have shows here its really very cool. I like that game too much.
If you're on the budget plan (as most of us are) you can give it a shot with PRMac.com, $18 for an extended release. I usually see a sales spike the day of a release, so I like them (it pays for itself many times over)
If you've got the $$ try using one of the iPhone PR firms such as Appency, I'm sure they'll get it to the right people
If you have any interest, check out more here. I'd like to think that we're rather affordable given our track record. Let me know if you have any questions. My email is cbanga@9magnets.com.
I was also looking for press release service as i am an user of iPhone. I visited your links but didn't find anything helpful. Please suggest some useful sites so that i can get help...
So many press release companies to choose from!! How does one differentiate between each? How can you tell which one is the most effective?
It's a good idea too to build up your own distribution list over time as you talk to various people. I add 2 or 3 news / blog / journal contacts to my growing list every week

Just curious, how many items are in your list?
Does your list includes only emails, or it also includes URLs of contact forms?
Our list includes 420 items for sites that post news in 23 languages.
