Users have to review the app on iTunes, which they took a promo code for, before they get a new one.
Every single promo code of yours will be 100% reviewed on iTunes!
Use Promo Dispenser as a TOOL. Where ever you want to give away codes, use a link to your Promo Dispenser site, so you always can track your codes and you can be sure, no lurker will disappear with your code without leaving a review.
You can take a code as a developer too.
You can make as many accounts, as many accounts you have on iTunes.
btw: If you are a dev and you uploaded an app to promodispenser, you are welcomed to use the site also as a user.
Please don't sit there and wait for reviews, but be active and download and review other apps.
All apps are coming from independent developers, just like you.
If every developer reviews other developers' apps, everybody wins.

We had some glitches with developer emails being sent empty.
If you registered and got an empty activation email, please use the "resend activation email" link on the login page!
You will get the regular user email, because the developer email has some issues. We are working on a fix. None the less, you will be able to activate your account!
Good luck with the new version. I am working on my first app at the moment and will make sure to try your 'tool'/service as soon as it's available on the AppStore.
Keep it up!
Cheers,
Bob

i tried your site the first time about a month ago, the reviews were good, and people didnt hog the codes, but they never posted the reviews on itunes.
I have a new release pending, ill add some more when it is accepted.
Now every old review has to be copied into iTunes, so you get all your reviews from back then too.
Of course you don't get reviews from those, who were banned because of spam, but they wouldn't write a real review anyway, so it's just an acceptable colleteral damage, I think.

Yes I noticed the spammers. I got a few on my app:
"WARNING: Dont Buy this app.WARNING: Dont Buy this app.WARNING: Dont Buy this app.WARNING: Dont Buy this app.WARNING: Dont Buy this app."
Yeah, it seems to work, I got some reviews "ported" to appstore LOL

If we can fix a small problem, promo dispenser usernames will be colored differently to other users on promo dispenser, so you always know, which itunes review came from a promo dispenser user.
What happens if someone takes a code and does not leave a review? I mean.. they cant take any more codes from your site which is nice, but where does that leave the code? I don't think its quite truthful to advertise 100% conversion.
That being said - I like the service, might use it for a few of our clients.
Do you have anything for free apps? I have a client with a competitor blasting them with fake reviews, which is easy to do on a free app. We are planning on running a RateMyApp focus group, but additional help would be nice too.
I don't know, what you exactly mean by "somebody doesn't leave a review".
They have to leave a reiew otherwise they can't get another code.
Of course it can happen that somebody takes one code and never comes back, but it is unlikely.
Previously we had a few idiots, who used the site for cracking and have put fake reviews onto the site or they just created tens of fake accounts to get more apps. They were banned and their reviews were deleted. That was a loss for the dev of course.
Now that users have to register a unique itunes ID and they have to validate it by writing 3 reviews within 2 weeks with the same id, we hope that idiots stay away.
Even if somebody tries to register a fake ID, he can get exactly one code for free without a review, because if it is not his ID, he can't write a review on iTunes with that ID and as long as he didn't write a review on iTunes, he isn't able to take another code.
I believe, this system will let freetards and warez kids stay away.

Sorry, we don't allow free apps on promo dispenser and we have no plans to do any campaigns for free apps.
Our system is made for promoting paid apps only.

*sarcasm on*
What? There is no such things as "a competitor blasting them with fake reviews"! If your client is getting bad reviews, it means your client's app is crashing and have serious bug. Tell your client to fix it. We live in civilized world. There is no such thing as competitor's bad review on your app.

What Appency means IMHO, is that you can't advertise something 100% if there is a possibility of that not happening (somebody might not leave a review in this case, which you just admitted). Of course, it's just a forum - no big deal, but if you were a company and it was a real advertisement - it would be illegal. That's why companies advertise "99% satisfaction guarantee", "99% uptime", 99% (98%, 97%). Of course 100% looks much better than "99%", but you can't do that if it was something serious.

Sure, there are always chances for things to happen.
Code may not work (in this case your code is marked broken on your account page), user dies before being able to write a review, 3rd world war breaks out, apple goes bankrupt etc.
That is called "forcemajeure" or "irresistible force"
Insurance companies won't advertise "you are insured 99%" even if they refuse to pay calling "forcemajeure" when your house sunk in a tsunami for example.
I think, so much common sense should everybody have on this forum, to know what it means. Everything else is hair-splitting :-)
Of course in a country, where people sue eachother for everything, there are other rules, but I am not from that country.
Anyway, you are right, but I don't care
You get your reviews for your codes, except you don't

I just thought I'd chime in here. I have used Promo Dispenser before, and it worked really well for me. I got a lot of good-quality reviews, and now with the changes in version 3, I think it will work a lot better. Bravo! Great way to use codes if you don't have anything else to use them for.
I'd like to suggest a feature: let the developers use the new "gift" feature in iTunes to give the app to the user. I realize this would be tough to implement, but if you could, I think it could greatly improve the service!
I'm giving this a shot. I had posted 10 codes in this forum and people took them without posting, and certainly not rating.
So this weekend I put 5 codes on iphoneapp-promocodes.com
I tried it to and i gave promodispenser 5 codes for my app. The webpage says 1 review but i didnt gat any reviews in the appstore.
So for me, this page is not working nice.
