I've had many private messages, emails, posts on threads (mainly in this Promotion Techniques subforum), etc. asking when
The Apperator will finally launch, so I thought I'd just address it here in a thread. The answer is finally here... this Saturday!
There is now a running countdown on the
website's home page. Of course, you can still submit apps for review by clicking the "Developers" link from the home page.
The website will launch with just a few reviews (haven't decided the exact number yet) so that the first initial reviews posted get at least some "home page time."
Also, if you're a Facebook person, feel free to
become a fan of The Apperator. This helps get the word out about the site, which is advantageous to you if your app gets reviewed.
Just so you know, this is the only place so far that I've asked developers to submit their apps, other than some other random (and *completely* dead) developers forum. So, for awhile, most--if not all--of the reviews will be iPhoneDevSDK members' apps.
I have a lot of ideas for
The Apperator that I will be ferociously working on as the site goes along. I thank you all for your support and patience! I hope this website proves to be beneficial to us iPhone app developers, as well as iPhone app consumers.
Oh, and one last note, before anyone asks--no, I will not be reviewing My DJ (my own iPhone app). That would be a little biased.
