Hi,

I was just checking out your iPhone app in the App Store. Congrats, looks pretty good.

Happy with your sales so far?

I’ve been working with some app developers the last few months, and I’ve learned that there’s two aspects that you need to focus on to be really successful selling apps in iTunes. I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned if you’re interested. Just let me know and I’ll send you a quick overview.

Best of luck,
Ed Turner
A quick google search turns up this site: Bayview Software :: Home

I am curious about his services and if anyone here has used them. If not, what's your take on what he is offering... is it worth it?

If you email him back he will send you a bit longer email with some tips and tell you to check out the services on his website. If you want a good description/press release written for you I would check out places like elance.com and getafreelancer.com
As far as submitting press releases to websites, you could just google away for an hour and gather a pretty good amount of places to send the release to.
He probably does an outstanding job, but for the average indie developer I think it is overpriced.

Yeah I've had message from them and a couple of others. I put it in the spam category. Haven't investigated further. I assume it's gonna cost me some money somewhere down the line.
