Default Admob

Has anyone had success with admob? I am getting ready to launch a free app with admob in it and I noticed that when I look at my reports they don't pay for every click?

Also it takes their customer service on average 5 days to get back to you on questions.

If anyone can list their experience with Admob and other systems that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Very good experience. I started with them in late May and have been consistently making more from my free apps than from my paid apps.

That is definitely encouraging, I have heard that from a lot of people that it is sometimes better to go free because of the ad revenue, especially if you get a lot of downloads.

So you just throw the normal ad bar in there and that's it? Do you ever see in your reports clicks with no money associated with it?

My AdMob proceeds are really good...it was a bit shy of my paid applications during the pre-keyword days, but now it's really the only thing bringing in money for me.

That is good to hear, have you ever had the issue of them not paying you for clicks? Have you ever tried any of the other ad networks?

When you say the proceeds are really good, without divulging exactly how good, is it hundreds per week, thousands per week, or tens per week (hope not!)...

Heh, well, I've never made it on any "Top XX" list, and I'm sure those folks rake it in a lot more...but I make tens per week. It's a nice supplemental and pays a few bills, but that's about it.
