I got the new iPhone 4S and have been having issues where I take videos, delete them and/or sync them and they hold onto memory. Right now, my phone has nothing on it but the O.S. no apps, no music, no photos, no video.
I shot some video and deleted it and it is showing 2.4 GB used!!
I've been to the "Genius bar" 3x, the last time they gave me a new phone, so it wasn't an issue with just one phone. It is doing it again. It doesn't happen right away, but if you shoot a lot of video and delete it, it starts to happen.
No, I checked the amount used by the OS when I got the phone and it was not 2GBs! Furthermore, I first discovered the issue when I had taken a lot of videos, synced them to my computer, deleted them and got a warning that I could not take anymore video because the memory was full. There was NOTHING on the phone at that point. The videos were deleted. no apps, no music, nothing.
