Should I wish my iPhone 4s for a birthday or wait?
Hello,
I am with T-Mobile (only for a couple months).
And I've always wanted an iPhone.
Now there is the possibility of my fourth to wish for his birthday.
But you need a contract extension from T-Mobile to the iPhone to take?
A tariff or change?
I have (only) 16-fidelity flamingos. And the contract extension would be on 12.10.2011.
How much would the 4th cost now?
Or would you advise me to wait until next year (have in Oktorber birthday, contract extension would be in October)
Would be resolved at this time maybe the iPhone 4s errors already or would there perhaps even a new / upgraded iPhone version, so perhaps an "iPhone 5" or something like that?

Not sure what you mean by iphone 4s errors? It's a fine phone, very fast but looks like an iphone 4. If you want to wait 6 months there may be a new iphone which may have a different form factor based on all the rumours happening pre iphone 4s launch. Re: the 4S It's not much different from an iphone 4. Siri is just beta and does not work unless you have perfect diction and an accent it recognises. It can always tell you the weather though
If you wait 6-12 months for the iPhone 5 then why not wait 18-24 for the 6? As a contract(at least in the UK) is 18-24 months then you may as well skip the 5 generation. With Apple products you can't play the waiting game, you just have to jump on one day and enjoy what you have, i have done this for the past 11 years and rarely have worries that i am missing out on something, because by the time i come to upgrade there is even better than what i only just missed out on before.

Thats not entirely correct. Saying there isn't much difference between the 4 and 4s is like saying there is no difference between a single and dual core processor, there is no difference between the quality of the rear facing cameras, no difference in the Aerials. Of course there are similarities between the 4 and 4s, but there are the same similarities between the 4 and the Galaxy S - there is only so much tech that a phone wants/needs these days. And there is nothing wrong with Siri - as said it is in Beta stages so people expecting it to do everything 100% is just stupid and foolish. but i know from experience that if you speak clearly (and why wouldn't you??) then it will do what you ask of it, maybe sometimes getting the grammar a little wrong for writing a text but nothing that is worth complaining about. As my contract is up in a month ill most likely be upgrading to the 4S. but i may try to do so without needing to enter another contract, thus being able to upgrade to the next iteration of the iPhone ASAP.
Biggest question here is: Are you happy with what you currently have?
