Anyone else notice that you can't group the Newsstand? I guess it's because it's not an app but a group/folder of sorts, but I don't plan to use it so it's just wasting space on the screen for me. Oh well, what can you do...
Yeah. That really annoyed me as well. The first thing I tried to do when I saw it was "hide" it in a group. When I couldn't do that I tried to delete it. No go. What an annoyance. So there it is, on my screen, empty and useless
It is a pain that it can't be hidden - i have no real need or use for it, and if i did i wouldn't use it on my iPhone but on the iPad (prefer the bigger screen for reading books etc). But no i suppose Apple is right again and EVERYONE in the world that has an iOS device obviously NEEDS newsstand... (can you detect the sarcasm!)
does anyone know of a current bug report requesting the ability to remove Apple apps?
Since Newsstand i have been thinking more and more of submitting this bug based on the fact that not everyone wants or uses the supplied apps. And while it is nice that they are bundled in with the OS they just take up space. I mean how many people under the age of 18 have an iOS device and how many of those people trade stock thus needing the stocks app?

And on top of that, it's set up and "on" by default and showing in the new Notification center. I get the feeling they do it just to brag about their stock price compared to MS, Google and Yahoo.
