Default Quad core iDevices on the way?

Just found this article thought you all like to know about it. OK, I am a big nerd, I get exicted about things like this.http://www.iphonedevsdk.com/forum/im...lies/smile.gif
Support for quad-core ARM CPU shows up in Apple's Xcode, but why?

This should be in Off-Topic as this is not related to developer as far as I know.

Well knowing that the next generation move for mobile devices is to be another step closer to portable computers, it is not surprising to see multiple cores on mobile devices in general.

Though I honestly think that there are a lot more work to completely consider smartphones to be a potential replacement, or even link to tablets and more to computers.

I'm 90% sure the next processor for iDevices, the Apple A6, will be a Quad-Core clocking somewhere between 1ghz to 1.5ghz. That's epic.

I expect a Quad-Core 1.2-1.5ghz CPU in the iPad 3 and a Quad (or triple) Core 1-1.2ghz in iPhone 6/iPod Touch 6th gen.
