I have some very complicated photoshop files that basically lay out every piece of the interface in some apps I am going to make. (which means they include alot of stuff I don't need as images)
Whats the fastest way to take a layer (usually multiple) and save it as a png? Some need transparency preserved, others don't.
I can easily locate the layers I am trying to find by hiding them. But after that it seems like such a slow process of trying to get it to a new project looking the same and of the right size. And it never comes out exactly how I want it.
All the images are vector art. They are all the right size in the photoshop document (sized for retina).
I'm basically looking for some quick key commands that after I have the multiple layers selected I can use to get them into a new project of the right size and save it as a png.
Best way to quickly save your layers as .png is to use CouldApp
You can use your own shortcut to upload your current layers in PS as .png image.
Also, CloudApp has a lot more excellent features, that you can check out on their site.
Just an alternative solution, you can try and hide/show the layers into different animation frames via the 'Animations' window, then export the frames as a PNG sequence.
