I usually just lurk this forum but since I have to wait 10 minutes for XCode to reinstall (in the vain hope that it will fix my problems when following every set of instructions I could find on the web didn't help) I thought I'd say hi

And WHY THE HELL DOES APPLE NEED TO MAKE THIS LAST STEP SO HARD?
I've been using my app on my own phone for about a month now, why can't getting it submitted it to the app store from that stage just be a simple button press? Is it really that hard? This nonsense is making me feel dumb dumb dumb

it'll no doubt turn out to be something ridiculous when I finally figure out why it's not working.

Fyi, my advice for everyone - don't try to build your distribution archive with the XCode 4.2 Beta 4. What a waste of time :-S Got it to work easy once I reverted to 4.02

You weren't supposed to do distribution builds on beta in the first place.

Maybe a lot of people do not really understand the meaning of "Beta".
"Beta" is not a release. It is just for testing.

I know what beta means, I guess I just thought by beta 4 it would be pretty much polished. My mistake.

I guess it was also my mistake to think there might be some friendly people on this forum. But don't worry, I won't make that mistake again

Sorry if you felt any kind of offence from my post. I did not intend it to be like that.
But Beta releases are incomplete. You know, even 99% sdk, would you submit an app if it has been compiled with that sdk? I won't. Anyway good luck to you.
