New here and an iPhone dev newbie

Hi all,

I've been trying to figure out iPhone dev on my own for a few months now. I've made some progress, and I decided to join this forum because there is a lot of great links to tutorials here. I graduated 6 months ago with a Software Engineer degree, which I'm finding not as practical as I had hoped. I was hoping to get an internship after college, but my husband's job moved us to London unexpectedly so I don't really have any employment options. I thought making apps at home might be a fun project to build on my limited programming skills. I've joined Apple's IOS Dev center and have read all the getting started documents. I've been able to keep up with all the tutorials I've found, but they seem to leave out some key information for me to duplicate similar results in my programs. Its been a bit frustrating at times, but I've been making steady progress. Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and I look forward to learning from you guys.
