iPad 2 Mac Pro and wifi woes
Hey guys, for a while at my office i have been creating my own wireless network to use off my mac pro (this is something i am allowed to do here), as the router that the office has is, well, poor and my mac pro is ethernetted up to the switch. I havnt been having any network problems on my Air nor my iPad for the first week i had it, but now when i come in and connect to my network i get nothing, the iPad connects and shows full signal but deems that there is no internet connection.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to solve this? I am using Channel 11 and a 40bit WEP key - i will test using a different key and channel but neither of these should make the slightest difference (only 2 wireless networks in the area 3 inc mine).
thanks joe

Fixed: The solution was fairly simple. Over the past few days i have had to recreate my network everytime my computer starts up again (really wish i wouldnt have to!) and to do it i have just been clicking on the airport icon in the menu bar and doing it from there - which wasnt working. I just went through my sharing preferences and started it from there and hey presto it worked fine. I find it a bit odd but hey there you go at least it works now.
