Any iOS dev bought an Android phone for porting? If so, which one?

I am tempted to start learning about Android development and port one of my apps over to it, but I was wondering if anyone else has done so and if so, which device they bought to do it. I don't really need a phone on a contract and it just needs to be a phone to dev with (given I already have my iPhone).

Any advice?

For what it's worth, I bought a Nexus One on eBay for pretty cheap. It's a great phone for developing with since it's got a normal sized screen, is fast and is fully supported by the Android development tools on a Mac (unlike some devices which require Windows software to kick the USB into the right mode to be recognised by ADB).
