Can not view attached images on this site

Hi all,

I've been ignoring this issue for a while, but it's starting to get a little annoying. If someone attaches an image directly to their post instead of embedding a link to an image hosted elsewhere I can't see it. I just see a red x.

Does anyone know why this occurs?

Not sure why it happens, but it's been a problem on the forum for as long as I can remember.
