Help with collisions xcode

Hi everyone

well i'm so new here and programming in xcode... so i have a problem, hope you could help me (sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong place :S).

I'm doing a game in xcode, is about throw a ball and this one has to "fall" in a hole. The ball fade out with a collision but doesn't seems to be falling into hole,the ball and the hole are uiimageview and i need to make the effect that is falling into it. I don't have a idea how to do that. I've been searching collisions in exact point but i can't find anything to help me with this
