Default Using IPad SDK and XCODE IDE on Windows7

Hi,
We have windows7 environment and expertise. We want to develop apps for Apple IPad using IPad SDK and XCODE IDE etc.

How can we use these tools on Windows environment?

Hi,

you can only develop iOS apps using Apple's xCode IDE on a Mac. I know some folks who have hacked the MacOS to run on non-Apple HW, but your mileage may vary.

The only other alternative is to use Ansca Mobile's Corona SDK which uses their own servers to package up the apps into an iOS executable. But even with this, you will have to monkey around with placing your provisioning profiles in the correct place. xCode does this for you.

Best Regards

tim

You can't make iphone apps on IOS, you need a mac to run xcode, install provisional profiles etc and write the apps, then compile to run on IOS.

Think about it, why would Apple which has the best developers and app store, have Windows users to program for somthing thats an Apple product. why would the loose money so you can program on your windows computer. Rather then the windows users want to program for iOS (iPhone,iPod touch, iPad) buy a mac and give Apple MORE money. Why would they let windows users make somthing and profit off somthing thats not their brand. SO no you can't.
