Asset-sizing: upscaling graphics from iPhone to iPad...
Hey guys,
I have an iPhone game currently in the store (no Retina Display yet) and am working on the iPad version. I'm looking for some feedback / thoughts on what percentage I should upscale the graphics.
I know a 100% size increase makes the most sense, I believe. This way everything would stay in proportion and I could easily go back and add Retina Display support for the iPhone version. The only problem is I'm worried a 100% increase makes the graphics look a little too big on the iPad.
How have you guys handled developing for both devices? It seems like other games don't always do an 100% increase, but that's just from me eyeballing it.
