My app is waiting for review too.
I'm a bit nervous about the reports on the official forum.
Some people are waiting a month now to get their app approved.
Has anyone got any idea yet about approval times for mac apps?
I just submitted mine yesterday. I will let you all know on this thread about progress if any.
Submitted on Jan. 9, been 'Waiting for Review' since. It'd be very nice if Apple had some sort of 'there are X number of Apps awaiting review ahead of yours' indication.

Nice idea, that would make the whole waiting process a lot more fun.
I had a game rejected because "is an unmodified iOS port", took 8 days totally to get the answer.. but seems they are very strict, hope you get better luck..
btw, I noticed you created a logo for "available on mac store", they have already posted the official one in the marketing resources section of the site.

That's lame. I guess my chances of acceptance are slim to none.
The app I submitted on the 9th just went into review (the 18th). Who knows if they'll accept it with their current strictness. Or how long the "in review" process is... Will keep you guys posted.

Do you feel that it is an unmodified iOS port? I wonder what they take into consideration when they decide to reject it based on that reason. Because there are already a few examples of iOS apps on the mac app store.
So mine just got rejected for "2.8 Apps that are not very useful or do not provide any lasting entertainment value may be rejected"
However, it was the same concept as a very popular app of mine for iOS. I am very disappointed in such subjectiveness in the review process. I hope you appeal your rejection, vbovio, as I am. Angry Birds was a direct port if I'm not mistaken. And why can't you have a direct port? There are some people with Macs and without iPhones I'm sure?
yes, there are several direct iOS ports already on the store, BlocksClassic and BeeCells are two pretty good examples, and there is nothing wrong with them, as there may be nothing wrong with other games they are rejecting.. feels totally unfair, I hope they reconsider with all our appeals.

oh man, i guess i might be going onto the same boat as yours.
Is your game in full screen on the MacOS? or same dimensions as the iOS one?

Just got an email from the review [...]
2.14 Apps must be packaged and submitted using Apple's packaging technologies included in Xcode - no third party installers allowed.
After the user inputs their receipt verification information an alert is displayed stating that the package is damaged and cannot be opened. A screenshot has been attached for your reference.
