Apple is introducing the Mac App Store

The Mac App Store will be available January 6, 2011.

Now that the Mac App Store has been out for a day, has anyone seen any blog posts about developers releasing their numbers on the release day sales?

The Mac App Store is a pretty interesting concept I think.. I bought some apps yesterday but I wasn't really that impressed by the amount or quality of the selection yet. Steam for Mac still has the App Store beat pretty handily when it comes to games... I wonder if that will change anytime soon.

Evernote have said that the Mac App Store sales of it's app where up 1500% compared to sales without the Mac App Store.

Makes my mouth water.
